originally had this game on ps3 just because it was made by the same people behind detroit become human; i think i genuinely enjoy it more than that though, especially when i rebought it on gog for $2 to play on pc. 1080p60 high was worth it
it mostly revolves around this guy (ethan mars) who's divorced n struggling to get by with his one (living) child alongside 3 other protagonists (madison "david cage made me to goon to" paige, scott shelby, my absolute favorite to play as, and norman jayden whos really just a drug addicted connor from dbh i think) trying to find out who the origami killer is. despite the jank acting + plotholes and a cheap reveal at the very end, this game kept me hooked throughout the entire thing. regardless of fairly poor acting in some scenes a few actually were a lil gutwrenching and the tension is kindof suffocating as u progress thru. the smallest things can determine how the game ends. i learned this the hard way because my mouse sucks and it made me fail a quick time event that outright killed a protagonist off permanently LOL
on the topic of quicktime events i cant take half of them seriously. did i really need one for changing a diaper or stripping nude??? i mean it's an interactive drama so obviously the gameplay won't be anything crazy but i still found it funny how heavy it was on that.
